On the 24th of December 2010 in the Griboedov Hall of our Gymnasium the Ball of fictitious characters took place. Participants and audience alike had a chance to experience on a large scale some of the best traditions of the Russian nobility. In his lectures Valentin Semenovich gives his precise analysis of Pushkin’s characters, of their thoughts and their state of mind. He sympathizes with these characters in such a way that it seems to us that Onegin will appear in a theatre hall soon and ask: “Shall we start?” And another main character, Lenskiy, will answer him: “So, let’s start”
